Well, I guess Brookwood Mall has tons of parking now that they lost one of their anchor tenants (and about half of the inside tenants, too ... sad).

But this location should bring out more of the Mountain Brook people and their big-money classics. Or we can hope.

I don’t think space was ever really the problem.

But malls are dying, and I never understood the point of having a mall about ten miles away from a bigger mall with pretty much the same tenants inside of it.

The Summit is the rare place that hates cars and pedestrians equally :D

I avoid it like the plague. But a lot of people still enjoy the idea of a glorified outlet/strip mall. I just don’t get the allure — if I’m paying that overhead, I want something overhead...climate control, easy walks, you name it.

But Brookwood used to have some more upscale stuff, but now it just feels like a strip of restaurants with an old building behind it.

I forgot the Summit, I was actually talking about Riverchase.

The only reason I go to the Summit is for Apple stuff.
